The e-Days E-Commerce Conference is Russia's first internationally-oriented e-commerce event which is holding on 6th of June 2014.It focuses on the most important trends and developments in local online retail, cross-border trade and other aspects.

Bas Godska was asked to join the event and be one of the main speakers through the day. He will be a moderator of the panel discussion "Russian e-commerce specifics" and will be a panelist in "Marketing for e-commerce" panel.

Bas_in_Ukrainian_E-commerce_Awards_04.04On the 4th of April Ukrainian E-commerce Awards ceremony held in Kiev. The event is exclusive in e-commerce in Ukraine. The aim of the event is to unite e-commerce companies and to create the e-commerce industry. Before the main ceremony BAS GODSKA (myThings Russia,, MAXIM KRASNYKH (Intel Capital), VASILE TOFAN (Horizon Capital), IGOR ZUBOV (specialist of remote sales, cross-border and business development) and EVGENY TIKHOMIROV (eBay Inc. in Russia) attended a penal discussion where the experts shared their experience with the audience about “Multichannel retail. Ukrainian expansion by western companies. Venture investments in e-commerce”.

On the 12th of April E-Commerce Director at Bas Godska will participate in the seminar in Russian Internet Retail Conference, which is aimed at online stores and retailers with e-commerce department.

The topic of the seminar is “Personification of retail supply: how to draw right conclusions on consumer behavior?”. Bas and other speakers will share their working experience with new platforms and tell about the best ways to receive more personal information from buyers. They will also raise the problem of excessive personal advertising during the seminar.

On the 16th of February Bas Godksa gave a masterclass for Skolkovo Startup Academy where he shared his view, experience and international best practice relating to the dynamic sphere of digital marketing and on how to reach aggressive growth in e-business. Bas dwelt upon practical tips on how to start digital business and errors to avoid, high level guidelines on effective digital media buying, and gave an overview of the various metrics used in the online advertising world.

On the 20th of November Bas read the second lecture in the MBA programme for Skolkovo international students from the UK, Spain, Peru, Egypt, Belgium and other countries.

Skolkovo MBA - is a 12-month MBA programme with a full cycle of training, focusing on the development of leadership and entrepreneurial skills. The philosophy of this unique world-class MBA programme rests upon the “learning-by-doing” principle which is realized in students’ active learning at real-life projects.

Bas spoke about the major trends in online marketing, in particular, about the prospects of retargeting, inter process communication, assessment of various start up concepts and drew some examples of case studies on creative business development.

SKOLKOVO_Logo_enOn the 3rd of November Bas gave his first lecture in the educational programme for Startup Academy, School of Management Skolkovo.

Startup Academy Skolkovo is a two-month part-time programme geared to the serious entrepreneur or corporate manager who wants to get the knowledge and support to launch his/her company, learning from the best international professors and practitioners of entrepreneurship. 

The first class was devoted to marketing formula C.A.S.H.C.O.W. B.O.M.B.E.R., which Bas has developed for Internet companies in the field of e-commerce. The presentation of Bastiaan aroused vivid interest among the students of the programme, who willingly asked questions on the subject. As part of the programme Bas is planning to give several lectures on the topics of best practices, quick wins and cases, where he will share his rich experience in working in the field of internet marketing.
