E-commerce, one of Russia's fastest growing, but often misunderstood markets, was the subject of a press event on the 14th of September in Moscow, following the release of EWDN's Russian E-Commerce Report. A bevy of experts and investors shared their views with 27 representatives of international and Russian media. Among them was Bas Godska, who noted in his speach a new trend in Russia: "Behavioral data and automation have become more relevant for many Russian internet shops. Customer segmentation, conversion optimization and real time bidding measures are implemented at a faster pace. And indeed, "the guy with the most data wins" if he uses it right!".
